The idea of Beyond Sofa came to us a few years ago, on a weekend, while relaxing and discussing with our family the fascinating process of how an ordinary person ends up paying up to 3 times more for a sofa which shouldn't be that expensive. 

Our family has been working in this field for generations, and to our surprise, the process of buying a sofa has not changed much! One has to go to a retail store that purchases these pieces from a wholesaler. The wholesaler buys the couch from a manufacturer in bulk. In the end, you end up paying for the profits of all these inter-agents. 

We realized that the perfect idea would be to open our shop and be able to sell directly to consumers.
